Palmer's New Coconut Oil Range - A Coconut Delight!

Coconut oil has long been hailed as a beauty hero, and now Palmer's have incorporated it into a whole body range.

From left to right, there is Palmer's Coconut Oil Body Lotion, Hand Cream, Body Cream and Body Oil. They use ethically and sustainably sourced raw, organic Coconut Oil plus there's also a fancy titled Tahitian Monoi Oil which has extensive antioxidant benefits.

I love anything coconut scented/flavoured so this range is my dream. The hand cream is my coffee table essential now - smells lovely plus deeply hydrating without being sticky. I've been using the Body Oil as light hydration throughout the day then the thicker Body Cream at night. I'm absolutely loving the Body Cream.

This range is great for all levels of dry skin and is super affordable - winner! The Body Lotion is £4, Hand Cream is just £2.40, Body Cream is £5 and the Body Oil is the most expensive at £7 - hardly expensive though! The only reason you wouldn't like this new Palmer's range is if you hate the smell of coconut, but for most people it takes them back to happy holidays!

Available from Boots, Sainsbury's and Superdrug.

Smith & Cult The Tainted

The packaging on these new lip stains from Smith & Cult are so darn sexy! Just look...

Their nail polishes always look so elegant so no wonder these are beautiful too. They do have lip lacquer already but they are quite sheer glosses. These lip stains take their lip offering one step further. They are definitely still glossy but give you more colour - perfect on their own or used over a lipstick.

The new shades are called Linger Sigh and Sweet Suite. Linger Sigh is a sheer peachy honey colour, whilst Sweet Suite is a gloss of pink.

Super easy application with the wand which gives the perfect amount of the product that you can build up.

Sweet Suite is the top one here, Linger Sigh below. You can see Sweet Suite has more of a colour to it. Glossy but without the dreaded 'sticky factor'!

They will be available from SpaceNK next month.

Sleek Whimsical Wonderland Limited Edition Collection

Sleek have something very fun for us this Summer - Whimsical Wonderland.

There is an eyeshadow palette, cheek balms and lipsticks in the limited edition collection. The palette is divine and probably my favourite, called All the Fun of the Fair.

There is a mixture of shimmer and matte shades, some more wearable than others.

Here are swatches of the top row from left to right going down my arm:

And the bottom row:

As you can probably see, some of them aren't hugely pigmented, more of a wash of subtle colour. The shimmery shades have more pigment and create more of an impact. Bottom left, Hit the Bell, for example is gorgeous but more of an evening colour than day.

Next we have the Sweet Cheeks Gel Blush balms - don't be put off by the bold colours, they come out a lot more subtle!

From left to right, these are called Lickety-Split, Hullabaloo and Tomfoolery. Here they are on my hand:

The texture is lovely, it just glides across the skin and as you can see a lot more subtle than the stick suggests! You could go as light or as bold as you like with these.

Finally, the three Lip VIP Semi-Matte Lipsticks.

These are gorgeous! Super pigmented, from left to right the shades are Hot Tottie, Big Shot and Fancy Pants. The semi-matte effect means your lips don't dry out and it has a really lovely satin finish.

What a pretty, fun collection! It launches in June from Boots.

Banish Dark Circles! Paul & Joe Concealer Pen

Concealer is one of my absolute must-have make-up essentials, alongside mascara. Especially on a Monday morning! I've been trialling the Paul & Joe concealer pen and it's brilliant.

As with all Paul & Joe products, the packaging is so pretty. But this isn't style over substance. I am using shade number 1 which is a pink hued concealer but there is also a yellow hued one to cover both skin tones.

Sometimes if a concealer is thick it means you have to drag it across your skin. However this has good coverage but spreads and blends nicely. It doesn't get 'cakey' throughout the day and stays put. It may have even trumped my beloved Touché Éclat! The Paul & Joe Concealer Pen isn't bargain but it isn't super luxury either in terms of price. It is £18 from Beauty Bay and is a staple of my make-up bag now.

My Little Dolce Vita Box

Usually my My Little Box arrives quite late in the month but this time it surprised me by coming quite early. Such a good surprise!

This month the box has an Italian feel...

First, the non-beauty gifts. This month we have a beautifully-patterned turban. Now, I'm not sure I'm really fashionable enough to pull off a turban! BUT they give you plenty of ways to wear it and I really love the colours so I'm going to give it a go.

This would usually cost £11. Next, we have a beautiful ring which I can't stop wearing. This would retail for £12, so you've already got more than the box cost with these first two gifts!

OK now for the beauty...

First, on the left, is Baija's Croisiere Celadon Body Oil. It has Green Tea and Jasmine inside and it smells absolutely gorgeous. This can be used simply as a body oil after you've showered to hydrate and fragrance, or it can also be popped into the bath as a divine bath oil. Love a multi-tasker! It is usually £16.50.

Next is a lovely fragrance called 'La Fille De L'Air' by Courreges that retails for £69 for 50ml. This is a handy handbag-sized 8.5ml tester. It has notes of Bergamot and Orange Blossom for a really fresh and floral spritz of refreshment - I love it!

Finally, My Little Beauty's own Illuminating Moisturiser for Legs. If, like me, you were caught out by the amazing weather yet pale pins last weekend, this is perfect. It is a gradual self-tanner especially for your legs. I'm going to give it a go this week. This is usually £8.

Unfortunately no Italian stallion inside My Little Box's Italian-themed box this month, but there are many delights. Plus the usual amazing value. Please try it out for yourself!

NEW! PRO:VOKE Liquid Blonde

This is for all my fellow blondies. PRO:VOKE are known for their Touch of Silver hair range which is perfect to help ash blondes and grey hair shine. However, they haven't forgotten about those blondes who like a bit of a golden touch. Introducing their new Liquid Blonde range...

I've had blonde highlights since about 15, pretty much for as long as I can remember! I love being blonde, however it can be quite high maintenance with regular salon appointments. Liquid Blonde is here to keep you as blonde as possible so that you don't have to visit the salon as much and also to keep your highlights looking fresh.

The Colour Activating Treatment Shampoo and Intense Shine Conditioner are to be used once or twice a week as a way to freshen up your colour. You leave each on for around 3 minutes (so don't do it when you're in a hurry) to get the best result. The product itself is an intense gold colour which is reassuring when you're expecting a product to deliver a gold result. Don't worry though, it doesn't stain anything.

I was slightly concerned that my hair might turn a little ginger as gold can easily go into a 'strawberry blonde' territory, but I was relieved to find my hair was just slightly more golden. It is very subtle, don't expect a big change, but I definitely noticed a difference.

For the rest of the time you can use their Colour Care Shampoo and Conditioner. These don't have any colour pigments in them but help protect your colour in-between treatments. You'll notice these bottles are double the size of the others, showing how often you use each range. This is definitely the 'every day' range.

I'm really impressed with this new blonde care range from PRO:VOKE and one of the best things is the price. The Colour Care range is £3.99 each whilst the Colour Activating range is £4.99 each - absolute bargain! Also now is the perfect time to get your blonde is great condition for the summer sun. All available at Boots NOW!

April Empties

Amazing products here which I'm really sad about finishing!

First is this Mitchell and Peach English Leaf Body Cream - smells so fresh and hydrating. It contains honey, cocoa and Vitamin B5. Quite a thick cream so probably best for dry skin people like me! This is the first product I've tried from the brand and am a big fan.

Next is the new Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep Night Cream. This I love! The texture is really hard to describe as it's a light cream yet feels quite gel-like in consistency. It isn't sticky at all though and I would definitely buy this again.

Then we have the Grown Alchemist Detox Serum Antioxidant +3. A potent serum I've been using at night. It has a mass of beautiful oils full with antioxidants to restore your skin and also helps with pollution effects (something of a beauty buzzword right now). This is my first time using a Grown Alchemist product and would definitely use more.

Finally Nails Inc Express Nail Polish Remover. I need another one of these ASAP. I've been trying to get every last drop of nail polish remover out of the sponge inside but I probably have had this for over a year. It is so convenient, it's brilliant! Plus only £8.

Onto May...SPF needs to up the ante right now!

NEW Caudalie Vinosource Skincare

Caudalie have a new skincare range that has just launched, and looks and feels brilliant.

The Vinosource range uses Organic Grape Water for its hydration properties. From left to right in the picture above is the Caudalie Moisturising Sorbet, Moisturising Mattifying Fluid, Moisture Recovery Cream and Riche Intense Moisture Rescue Cream. This runs from the lightest hydration to the richest.

The Moisturising Sorbet has the most interesting texture. The gel-cream turns into a refreshing burst of water for the skin. It smells really lovely too with Cucumber Water and Fresh Mint intensifying the refreshing feeling - really great for Summer.

If your skin is on the more oily side, the Mattifying Fluid will be your friend, especially as the weather warms up and shine becomes more of an issue. It has a very silky texture and doesn't sit on the skin.

The Moisture Recovery Cream is my personal favourite. It's hydrating enough without feeling too heavy - you only need a little bit. Plus it smells incredible with Grape and Borage Oils to maximise hydration.

Finally, the Riche Intense Moisture Rescue Cream is, as the name suggests, the richest of them all. I would use this as a night cream, or for when my skin feels really tight.

All of the above are £23.

Also in the range is the new Grape Water Mist. I adore a mist in the Summer. It's a great way to feel cooler without it ruining your make-up. I have many in my drawer just waiting for the heat! This soothes all skin types, even the most sensitive, whilst adding moisture to the skin, plus it is only £6!

If you fancy trying these products out, there are here at Look Fantastic.
