New Herbfarmacy Skincare

This is a new discovery for me. Herbfarmacy the brand isn't new, but they have just been through a new re-design (I'm told the new look is miles better than before!) and I'm excited to try their organic skincare. All their ingredients are grown on their farm so they know exactly where everything has come from.

The first product here in the Rose & Mallow Facial Oil. I love my oils and this smells amazing. The Rose isn't too over-powering. As well As Rose oil there is Evening Primrose Oil, Calendula, Marshmallow, and Hempseed to deeply nourish the skin. It is £24.50.

Next is Herbfarmacy's Rose & Echinacea Toner. I never used to be into toner and thought it was an unnecessary step in skincare but I am fully on board now! This is very refreshing and the Echinacea closes pores after cleansing. Again, for those not so keen on rose this is very delicate. It is £17.50.

Also here I have the Replenishing Face Cream. It is quite rich so better for those on the drier/more mature end of the skin spectrum. It has Marshmallow and Calendula to restore, protect and heal - perfect when the weather suddenly turns like this week! It is £24.50.

Finally, I have one of the Herbfarmacy balms which I have heard great things about. The Mallow Beauty Balm smells divine. Marshmallow is Herbfarmacy's signature herb and is used in this balm to deeply moisturise and boost radiance. Also Calendula soothes and protects the skin. I love a multi-tasker and this can be used as a cleanser, moisturiser or a little boost to dry patches or fine lines. It is £18.

Such a lovely brand with simple, clean products. I need to try them a little longer to really see the results but so far, so good. The range can be bought at Planet Organic.

NEW Revlon Launches

A couple of new bits from Revlon to show you today.

Revlon have launched some brilliant products. The Ultra HD Matte LipColors are super pigmented with a great matte yet moisturising finish. No dry lips but also no hair getting stuck!

The top one here is Love and the bottom is Obsession. Love is a very flattering orangey-red, whilst Obsession is a pretty and fun deep pink.

They last incredibly well. After endless cups of tea and lunch it is still there. They are £8.99 from Boots (also on a cheeky 3 for 2 right now!).

Revlon also have some new mascaras. I have the Dramatic Definition one here but there are four others in the new range depending on what you're looking for in a mascara.

The special Lash Separator Brush separates each lash so no clumping, giving a full dramatic effect - perfect. I found the brush really easy to use and it gets to the even the smallest lashes. The new Revlon mascaras are £9.99 from Boots too.

Well done Revlon!

My Little Box April 2016 - My Little Flower Box

There are some absolute gems in this month's My Little Box, My Little Flower Box.

This is probably my favourite part of this month's box - a super cute pop-up garden!

You simply dampen the base, plant the seeds and watch it grow!

Next, a really beautiful lingerie bag for taking your delicates on your travels with you.

It's really soft!

Finally, the beauty part of the box which is really strong this month...

So here we have L'Occitane's Cherry Blossom Bath and Shower Gel - smells amazing! Then Nails Inc's Kensington Caviar Base Coat and My Little Beauty's Rosy Mornings Detoxifying Mask.

Another wonderful box from My Little Box I cannot wait to try!

Sukin's New Charcoal Skincare

A couple of weeks ago I took a trip to see the new launches from gorgeous, Australian natural skincare brand, Sukin. They have quite a few new launches which is very exciting, but I'm especially interested in their new charcoal range which launches this month.
Charcoal in skincare is nothing new, but it's exciting because it is so effective at purifying and cleansing the skin, and also combatting pollution which seems to be more and more of a hot topic in skincare. Especially important for Londoners like me.
I've got the Pore Refining Facial Scrub Plus Charcoal which is £9.99, full of lovely ingredients.
It has Bamboo charcoal (of course), plus Jojoba beads to buff the skin and clear pores of impurities. Chamomile and Cucumber soothe the skin, whilst Rooibos tea, Willowherb and Coconut Oil balance the complexion. It also has a host of vitamins and enzymes to keep your skin super healthy.
Plus it is satisfyingly dark in colour - if something with charcoal in it wasn't grey you would be disappointed!
Available from Holland & Barrett, Feel Unique and Planet Organic. See more about the whole range here.

A Skincare Superhero - REN Wake Wonderful Night-Time Facial

This is perfectly titled as 'Wake Wonderful'! The Wake Wonderful Night-Time Facial is new from REN (one of my faves) and easy peasy to give your skin some more radiance.

We've all been there. Life gets in the way and you haven't been looking after your skin and all of a sudden your skin is complete dullsville! REN to the rescue. Simply put this on three nights in a row between serum and moisturiser and your skin will be transformed.

Why is it so good? It's packed full of acids and enzymes to gently but effectively exfoliate and brighten as you sleep. Also Glycogen and Magnesium revitalise and boost your skin cells. When I first used this product, I woke up and had to double take in the mirror. My skin was glowing so much! I now use this as and when my skin needs a little pick-me-up. Due to the acid content, this might not suit you if you have super sensitive skin, but mine is fairly sensitive and has been absolutely loving this.

It is £32 from SpaceNK - check it out!

Inside there are six shades and an easy guide telling you exactly how to use each one for the most beautiful and natural contouring look.

The medium:
And the dark:
Due to their cream texture they blend really smoothly leaving no tell-tale lines, so it looks like you really do have those amazing cheekbones! I will try to do a step-by-step very soon on here and Snapchat @christinaadores.

As I only need the light kit, I'm giving away the medium and dark over on Twitter and Instagram today - check it out @christinaadores and good luck!

March Empties

Lots of lovely products I've recently finished!
First is Soap & Glory's Righteous Butter, the most beautiful body lotion. This tub has lasted ages as you don't need very much. It's a really rich butter, perhaps too much for oily skin but my dry skin loves it!
Next, a lovely bubble bath I've been loving. It gets really bubbly (key for a bubble bath!) and smells sweet but not too sickly sweet. I Love...Pink Marshmallow Bath & Shower Crème* is something I would definitely buy again.
Also finished last month is this great and budget-friendly concealer. You can see how well used this is by the writing being rubbed off! It is L'Oreal's Perfect Match concealer which I impulse bought when my last concealer ended and I'm glad I did! A really lovely texture that blends easily without having to drag the concealer and rub too hard around the delicate eye area. Perfect.
Next is The Body Shop's Argan Oil for Lips*. This tiny pot has lasted me months and is a great consistency for a lip balm. Deeply moisturising but not sticky or tacky, I've also used it for dry cuticles as well as lips.
Finally a hand cream I got in a My Little Box. The My Little Beauty Sweet Hand Cream has been an essential on my coffee table for a while. It sank in very quickly and smelt very almondy which I love.
I would definitely recommend all these products and would happily buy them again!
