Top Beauty Advent Calendars 2013

The number of beauty advent calendars this year seems to have sky-rocketed. Definitely more exciting than a little bit of chocolate every day, but some of them can be ridiculously expensive. Here are my top five for this year:

Boots Beauty Advent Calendar - £30 (worth £65)

This is Boots very first beauty advent calendar and is still in stock which is quite unexpected, I'm assuming they made a lot for the demand. There are treats from Soap & Glory, Rimmel, Mavala and Nails Inc, so nails, skincare and make-up all covered.

You Beauty Advent Calendar - £49.95 (worth £240)

This is an absolute bargain! Check out it here. They call it a premium advent calendar but it doesn't have the price tag which is great. Brands inside include Caudalie, ESPA, Dermalogica, Leighton Denny, Sisley and Stila. I'm really tempted by this one...maybe next payday!

Yankee Candle Advent Calendar - £21.99 (worth £44)

Like candles? Who doesn't! If you don't fancy an advent calendar with skincare, make-up, etc then this is for you. Filled with gorgeous Yankee candle tealights in Christmassy fragrances such as Snow in Love, Balsam & Cedar, Merry Marshmallow, Red Apple Wreath, Snowflake Cookie and Sparkling Cinnamon.

Ciate Advent Calendar - £42 (worth approx. £200)

If you're obsessed with nails like me then this advent calendar is for you. I think Ciate was one of the very first beauty brands to create an advent calendar and this one is amazing. Exclusive to Selfridges, you get their original shades as well as mini bottles of their infamous caviar pots, plus exclusive glitter and sequin polishes. It is pricey but considering one Ciate polish is £9 if you love nails this is a good investment.

The Body Shop Advent Calendar - £55 (worth £80)

This one was only announced last week and but includes some great Body Shop classics such as Vitamin E Moisture Cream, Mango Shower Gel, Lip & Cheek Stain and Shea Body Butter so both skincare and make-up in this one. Available in stores from today.

There are plenty of other ones such as Selfridges, Benefit, etc so just have a Google to find them all. However I think these are the best ones in terms of what you get for your money. I'm tempted by all of them!

Have you bought any beauty advent calendars yet?
