What's Hot What's Not

Hot:

New Nails Inc collections - it's been all over blogs and Twitter this week. Nails Inc are launching their concrete, leather and feathers collections next month. The concrete and leather are effects which set as the special polishes dry, the feather is a new addition to their Bling It On range which uses a brush to achieve the look. As much as I think they might be a gimmick I definitely want to try them!

Pixi SS13 collection - really loving the look of Pixi's new collection for next year. Unveiled this week, the collection will be available from March and includes amazingly pretty shades. Definitely something you'll want come spring! Take a look...

Cracking Cow Christmas Cracker - there are so many beauty crackers this year but I came across the Cowshed one this week, and at just £10 it's a LOT more reasonable than others available at the moment. You get a Wild Cow Shower Gel and a Knackered Cow body lotion inside - perfect for a stocking filler or as a Secret Santa!

Not:

Mark Wright perfumes - the perma-tanned TOWIE 'star' has brought out perfume this week, not just for men but also 'pour femme'! He has also commented on The Daily Mail saying he didn't want to do anything tacky, so went for classy with these launches...*ahem*

Make-up overload - Jennifer Lopez usually looks so naturally beautiful, but this week she just went overboard (correction: her make-up artist did), it's too severe for her. Stick to being a natural-ish beauty Jenny!!!

Skin going mental - dry forehead, spotty chin, sensitive cheeks - either my hormones are acting up, the weather is taking its toll, or my skin is simply doomed, but a quick poll in my office shows that a lot of other women are experiencing tricky skin at the moment. Not. Cool.

Finally a quick treat for you! You're welcome...
